Zone Read Footage
One of the keys to the zone read is the QB following out his fake. When watching the Oregon/Auburn game, one of the criticisms of Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton is that he did not carry out his fakes on his plays. Mullen/Meyer have stressed to their QBs to carry out their fakes. Below are some cutups of Miss St. zone read plays. Enjoy!
